The cleanliness of the apartment leaves much to be desired. Mold, dirt, and stains were found in various areas of the apartment, including the bathroom, sofa, and bedding.

The King's House is a very budget-friendly, quaint, and friendly apartment. The distance from Edinburgh couldn't be beat for the price and provided a great home base for our adventures around Scotland. The town was cute enough and even though we were pretty much on top of the train tracks, we didn't hear it once. The living area has plenty of space to relax, and the kitchen was great. Beds were comfortable and the washing machine was very helpful. excellent value for our long weekend.
